英語初心者の頃の勉強法📚~How did I start studying English ~

今回のテーマは、『英語初心者の頃の私がした勉強法』についてです。
私が初めて英語を知ったのは、確か小学5年生の時。
それから早いことに約11年が過ぎようとしています。（笑）
小学5年生の頃の英語と言っても、簡単な英単語に軽く触れる程度でした。
しかし、中学に入り英語の文法が始まると、それはもう頭の中が混乱（笑）
『英語＝難しい』
という風に勝手に脳が英語に対するイメージを悪いものにしてしまったせいで、文法や単語を理解しようとしても全く頭に入ってきませんでした。

Today's theme is "How did I study English when I started it.”
I knew Englsih when I was a 5th year elementary school student.
Almost 11 years have passed since then. Lol
At that time, I only studied easy words in English, such as 'apple' and 'hello'. However, after I started to study English grammar at junior high school, I was so overwhelmed!
My brain started to think like "English ＝difficult".
So even though I tried to study English , I couldn't understand them very well.
しかし、好きな海外アーティストのライブに行ってから、全てが変わりました。
ライブ中に彼らがなんと言っているのか全く理解できない自分が悔しくて、絶対英語話せるようになる！と心に決めました。
そして今の自分がいます。
英語に対して本気になり始めたのはちょうど高校に入学した頃。
今から6年前に遡ります。
そしてその頃から私の英語に対するイメージが、
『英語＝楽しい』
に変わっていました。
However, After I went to the the concert which is my favorite artist, my mind changed.
I felt frustrated because I couldn't get what they said during their performance.
Since that day, I decided strongly, “I’ll be able to speak English fluently!!!” And now I am here.
I started studying English hard when I entered high school.
The date goes back for about 6 years.
Since then my mind for English has changed.
“Learning English is fun!”
ずいぶんと長く自分の歴史について話してしまいましたが、簡単にまとめると私がしたことは以下の３つです。
➀基礎英語を復習する
➁英語検定をうける
➂教科書などを音読する
どうしてこれらのことが私にとっていい勉強法になったのか、これから詳しく説明していきたいと思います。
Well, I talked about my English history a bit longer, to sum up, I have 3 things what did I do.
➀Review the basic English
➁Take Eiken test
➂Read aloud the textbook
I’d like to explain why these things were work for me below.
➀基礎英語の復習
まず、なにかを勉強するにあたって、土台がしっかりしていなければなりません。
私は中学英語の復習から始めました。実際問題集を買って解いてみると、間違えばかり…。
めんどくさいとは思いますが、基礎をやり直すことでしっかりした土台ができて、その後新しいことを学ぶ時に理解度が深まります。
めんどくさいとは思いますが、急がば回れ！です。

➀Review the basic knowledge of English
First, when you start to learn something new, you have to build a foundation.
I started to review the basic knowledge of English in junior high school.
I bought a textbook and tried it. But I made a a lot of mistakes 😱😱
If you can build a strong foundation, it will be easy to understand when you get new knowledge.
I know it's boring, but Slow and steady wins the race.
➁英語検定を受ける
英語検定を受けることは、自分の今現在の英語レベルを知ることができます。
私は高校に入ってから英語検定を受け始めました。
英語検定では、リスニング、リーディングスキルだけでなく、三級からは面接、二級からライティングスキルも加わり、英語勉強に必要な４つの要素を勉強することができます。
公式サイトに過去問もあり、無料で出来るのでお勧めします✨
➁Take the Eiken exam
Taking the Eiken exam tells you your current English level.
I started to take it after I became a a high school student.
You can improve, reading skills, listening skills upper 4th grade, from 3rd grade, you can train your speaking skills in English interview and in 2nd grade, there is a writing.

➂教科書を音読する
私はよくテスト前に、高校の英語の教科書を音読していました。
音読すると自然に文章が頭に入ってきて、分の流れをつかむことができます。
発音もよくなるし、読解力もつくのでお勧めです。
どんなものでもいいので、英語を声に出してよ読んでみるといいと思います。
➂ Read aloud the textbook
I often read aloud the textbook before the exam when I was a high school student.
It allows you to understand the composition of the sentence.
Also it will be a practice for your English pronunciation. In addition, You will be able to read the English article faster!
I think you can find the English article on online easily. It's a really good way to practice it!
